A gay couple in the midst of a bitter breakup receives an unexpected visit from a Christmas angel. In an attempt to reconcile the bickering couple, the angel takes a creative approach to gift giving. Based on a story by Ralf König, Heavenly Peace marks a return to the theatrical animations of yesteryear using a very contemporary storyline.
