The 2026 Ojai Film Festival: Six Days, Six Conversations

Martin Sheen

The 27th Ojai Film Festival runs November 4–9, 2026: six days of screenings, conversations and receptions across the Ojai Valley. It is the first festival programmed under Festival Director Richard Sven Shelgren and Artistic Director Theodore Melfi, whose appointments were announced in June.

Six films, six conversations

The lineup

This year’s films span five categories: narrative features, narrative shorts, documentary features, documentary shorts and animation: 73 films from 11 countries. Short films screen together in programs, including three Gold Coast Shorts programs. Browse all the films or see the full schedule, which remains tentative until the program is locked.

Where

Screenings and events take place at Libbey Bowl, the Ojai Art Center Theater and Gallery, Chaparral Auditorium, El Roblar and the Duchess.

Tickets, passes and reservations

Single screenings are $12 ($8 for under 12, over 65, students and military veterans). A Two Pack is $20, a Four Pack $35 and All Access Films $200, with discounted prices of $16, $25 and $150. All Access+, covering every screening and every event, is $500. Special events are $20 ($13 discounted).
