A woman’s naked body elongates and contracts, shifting into the poses adopted by female nudes in some of the world’s most famous paintings. She tries and rejects one posture after another, voices in a crowded public space reverberate around her. This provocative film highlights a woman’s search for self-determination free from the limiting fantasies of a Western artistic tradition.
