Gil Navarro, a Latino journalist, returns to his hometown to investigate an outbreak of COVID-19 at the meat-packing plant where his father works. Driven by memories of his childhood bond with his father, Gil interviews a PR rep from the plant who downplays the seriousness of the outbreak. However, the plant’s workers tell a very different story.
