Spend 90 minutes with John Branagan, a stuntman and stunt coordinator with over 30 years of experience working with Hollywood’s top directors, actors and producers. The winner of a 2008 Taurus World Stunt Award for Live Free or Die Hard, John will cover topics like: How stunts develop from the script to the screen; What’s the role of the stunt coordinator and the second unit/action director; How stunt rigging plays a crucial role in today’s action films. He will have clips from his movies to illustrate how he achieved certain stunts. A Q&A session will follow.
About John Branagan: With over 100 films and television shows on his resume, John continues to work as a stuntman/stunt coordinator. Some of his latest credits include the feature film Searching, starring Jon Chu, and the third season of the hit Amazon series Sneaky Pete, starring Giovanni Ribisi. He has also written, produced and directed three short films.
