Hanan, a successful Syrian-American doctor, travels to Syria to help war victims. When her hospital is bombed, Hanan is blinded, forcing her to return to New York, where she struggles to adapt to her condition. Haunted by her experiences, Hanan must confront her fear of navigating the world, putting her identity, and her future as a doctor, in doubt.
