As a young boy he dreamed of taking flight with a pair of strap-on wings crafted from cardboard. As an adult he fulfills his childhood dreams of flight by becoming an astronaut. When technical difficulties threaten to abort his latest mission, the astronaut draws inspiration from his boyhood fantasies to transcend a nightmarish situation.
