An acclaimed philosophy professor has one unrealized ambition as he approaches retirement—to bring his unpublished novel to the silver screen. On the other side of the world, his filmmaker daughter fears her father’s passion for writing is fading away. Determined to help her father rediscover his creative fire, Jamie decides to turn a chapter from her father’s novel into a film.
