After finding a pearl in the belly of a fish, a middle-aged fisherwoman buys a brightly-colored rickshaw. With her two cats in tow, the fisherwoman embarks on a life of adventure. Then an unexpected calamity threatens her newfound freedom. Featuring psychedelic animation and exuberant music, Fisherwoman and Tuk Tuk is winner of India’s National Award for Animation.
