Rena is a woman recovering from a horrific accident. Manolis is a lonely boy coping with the death of his mother. Although their tragedies are unrelated, the two form an unlikely bond while they work through their trauma. Inspired by an event from the director’s own life, Fugue is a film about loss, healing, and the common experience of grief.
