Jojo is a free-spirited, mute woman living with her adoptive father, Samson. When Jojo hears the voice of God commanding her to save the Baby Jesus, she sets off on a cross-country odyssey with a mysterious shoeshine box and an escaped felon named Cash. Through flashbacks and interviews, the film reconstructs Jojo’s journey in a parable about faith, friendship, and following your destiny.
