Brooks County, Texas isn’t on the US-Mexico border, but a fateful Clinton-era policy made it ground zero for immigrants seeking a better life. As two families search for missing loved ones, they encounter dedicated activists, vigilante ranchers, and Border Control search and rescue teams locked in a proxy version of the national immigration debate.
