Ousmane, an immigrant newly arrived from Burkinabé, tries to adjust to his new life in Montreal. One day he returns from work to find his elderly neighbor, Edith, disoriented in the hallway of their apartment building. Lacking purpose in his own life, he decides to become Edith’s caretaker, but his choice comes with unintended consequences for them both.
