Jenya Schenider and Jack Anderson use a flock of sheep to restore California’s native grasslands as part of the Cuyama Lamb project. For Jenya, the project is an opportunity to heal from the trauma of her parents’ death and cope with change. Through her journey, the film invites us to participate meaningfully and intentionally with the natural world, and to see that by healing the land, there an opportunity to heal ourselves.
