An unhappy couple fights constantly, with far-reaching consequences for their children, their neighbors and society at large. Filmed entirely without dialogue, this innovative film relies on sound effects and the visually impactful metaphor of soup to convey the corrosive effects of unresolved anger. Adapted from a short story by avant-garde playwright, Eugene Ionesco.
