A filmmaker struggles to reconcile his love for his grandfather with the realization that the man he loves might be a war criminal. The more he pushes his grandfather, the more resistance he encounters. At the same time, the filmmaker questions whether he really wants to learn the truth. A film about compassion, accountability, and the brutal legacy of colonialism.
