Film Screening & Discussion

NFMLA Diversity Screening Block

This screening block is presented in collaboration with NewFilmmakers Los Angeles (NFMLA), a non-profit 501(c)3 organization that champions emerging and diverse filmmakers and storytellers from around the world and provides a forum where filmmakers can be recognized for their contributions, have open audience discussions about their work and connect with industry professionals for insight on distribution, production and representation. A selection of short films will be shown, specially selected by NFMLA staff. These films are created by and feature talents in the Diversity categories: Women, BIPOC, Neurodiverse and LGBTQIA+ with stories that come from a variety of countries. Filmmakers who are local to SoCal may be present for a Q&A.
