Silvia Gallini, a young filmmaker, recalls her life-changing journey with Joe Blaustein, an expressionistic artist in his eighties who transformed her view of life, art, and feminine beauty. In an homage to her mentor, Gallini documents Blaustein’s art classes and communal dinners as the artist inspires an intimate circle of students to give shape and form to their authentic selves.
