Michael is a mixed race, autistic, 16-year-old boy who is loved by his parents but bullied by classmates for being different. Confronted by an emotionally damaged, white supremacist, Michael takes to heart his father’s motto, “God is Love,” and defuses a potentially deadly situation. A meditation on the power of love in the face of bigotry, extremism, and violence.
