Mona, her husband Theo, and their daughter, Hanna, live in an idyllic villa on the outskirts of Berlin. When the attractive daughter of a friend comes for a visit, she exposes cracks in Mona’s seemingly perfect life. As the family’s problems come to light, they begin a downward spiral that culminates in a series of life-changing events.
