A woman is sexually harassed by two men while driving her daughter to school. Disturbed by the encounter, she gets in an accident and winds up at the hospital. There, her path intersects with that of a young girl who was sexually assaulted by her doctor. Their encounter provides the catalyst for two very different responses to an all-too-common problem.
