A human crew deserts a spaceship, leaving two robots to complete a decades-long expedition to the sun. While one robot assumes a leadership role, the other follows orders to complete daily chores. When a critical breakdown disrupts the balance of power, the two robots must confront their mortality and the true nature of their relationship.
