In 1987, Sardasht, a Kurdish city on the Iran-Iraq border, is attacked by Iraqi forces with chemical weapons. After his pregnant wife and three children suffer devastating injuries, Ghader fights an inefficient bureaucracy and an overwhelmed medical system to save his family. A searing film that shows the brutal effects of chemical warfare and the personal cost of civilian casualties.
