Keen on nature and animals, S. is an eight-year-old Turkish girl with a vivid imagination. During a stay in the hospital, S. recalls happy holidays in her grandparents’ village. When dark and terrifying memories emerge, S. begins to make sense of her past. Wicked Girl is hand-drawn animation that addresses the trauma of sexual abuse with empathy and care.
