While other kids play kickball outside her bedroom window, Mathilda memorizes reams of facts to please her mother and teacher. When Mathilda experiences an uncharacteristic lapse in memory, her mother orders up a spare head, but things don’t work out as planned. An animated film that poses some important questions about the unrealistic expectations we place on smart kids.
