On a business trip as a loan officer for a bank, Ms. Rossi becomes embroiled in a small-town scandal involving a Catholic priest, her client’s judgmental mother, and a birthday cake. After a series of misadventures and misunderstandings, Ms. Rossi manages to bring joy to an aging woman in a most unexpected way.
