After his retirement, Georg takes up metal detecting in his Austrian hometown. Curious about the story of a B17 that crashed on a neighboring hillside during WWII, he ventures into the woods and immediately exhumes engine parts. Contrasting American and Austrian attitudes toward war, this documentary seeks a deeper understanding of the past and its influence on the present.
